Smart Cities : Revolution

Since the days of the industrial revolution, cities have been the engines of economic growth. The revolution was effective in developing prosperity for many countries, but the development was not always “smart,” sacrificing health conditions, for instance, for greater productivity.

But in this Blog We will Most talk about the Technologycal Part of a Smart city. Now with greater use of TECHNOLOGY, a number of cities are accumulating data, delivering innovation, and enhancing lives of citizens. 
Here's a Recent Research.Juniper Research recently compiled its list of top-five “smart cities.”   The author of the study, Steffen Sorrell, focuses on two overarching benefits of smart cities: sustainability and efficiency. 

At the end, he identified five Basic components of a smart city.

  • Technologies
  • Buildings
  • Utilities
  • Transportation & road infrastructure
  • The smart city itself

A Smart City is a ever more prevalent urban development strategy that uses new technological advances to tackle it’s problems, often by collecting massive amounts of data gathered from the daily actions of its inhabitants in order to find the most efficient way to run certain systems in future.Quite a few cities around the world are paying close attention as to what is happening in the technology sector.

 High-tech cities are becoming more common, even though there will always be certain regions where these efforts are more obvious. The World Health Organisation estimated two-thirds of the world population will live in high-tech urban areas over the next 35 years. For some people living in the following cities, that future is already here.
